Our Dear Mom, Betty Louise Grasso of Clayhatchee, Alabama went home to be with The Lord on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the age of 89. She was a wonderful Mom who was always there when we needed her the most, offering her support, wisdom, and love in abundance.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Teressa Rose Grasso; her parents, John and Thelma Killingsworth; her loving husband of 52 years, Richard Frank Grasso; her brothers, John Howard Killingsworth and James Earl Killingsworth.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Natalie Fuller and Tony Fuller of Madison, Alabama; Monica Garrison (Elliott) of Madison, Alabama and Teresa Boswell of Clayhatchee, Alabama. Survivors also include her grandson, Corporal Brandon Fuller, USMC, Twentynine Palms, California; brothers, Billy, Bobby (Candy), Wayne and Ronald Killingsworth; sister-in-Law, Jeanette Hollis Killingsworth; brother-in-Law, Victor (Butch) Grasso and sister-in-Law, Annie Grasso of Florence, Montana and numerous nieces and nephews.
Natalie and Monica would like to thank our sister and friend, Teresa “T” Boswell for all her loving care she has given Mom and our family throughout the years. Mom always called Teresa “My Angel” and we agree that she has definitely worn a halo and wings for many years. Thank you, T from the bottom of our hearts; you will always be our Angel! We Love You!
The Family would also like to thank Jessyka Casey of Enhabit Home Health; Daria Sanders of Clayhatchee, Alabama; Gentiva Hospice; and all her loving Friends from Providence Baptist Church and the entire Clayhatchee Community for all their loving care, support and friendship they have given Mom throughout the years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Hixson and Rev. Kevin Woodcock officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.
