Sandra Elaine Williamson, 70, of Slocomb, passed away peacefully at Enterprise Health and Rehab.
She possessed a wonderful sense of humor and had a contagious smile that could brighten any room.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb, with Dr. J. Chris Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Whitaker Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Sandra was born February 23, 1956, in Houston County, Alabama. She was a woman full of life, laughter, and love. Sandra possessed a wonderful sense of humor and had a contagious smile that could brighten any room. She loved her family dearly and never met a stranger.
Sandra was known for her playful spirit and loved to pick, joke, and have fun with those around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially sitting on the porch and watching the sun go down. Those quiet moments, surrounded by the people and things she loved, were among her favorites.
Above all, Sandra cherished her family. She leaves behind many precious memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Williamson.
Sandra is survived by her children, Elliott Ward (Candace Stone), Elliott Williamson (Ashley Dean), Christopher Williamson, Stacey Williamson, and Lisa Williamson; several grandchildren; sisters, Karen Williamson and Kathy McSwain; brother, Larry McSwain; along with other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Sandra's laughter, contagious smile, and fun-loving spirit will never be forgotten. Though she has left this earthly life, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
