“

Ronnie’s love for his family, his love and appreciation for the outdoors, and his genuine friendship with others will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Ronald “Ronnie” Dewayne Stanley, 58, of Hartford, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026, at his home.

A service to celebrate Ronnie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb, with Rev. Hilburn Stanley officiating. Interment will follow in Madrid City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Ronnie was born December 23, 1967, in Houston County to the late Hubert and Betty Bedsole Stanley. He could best be described as a man of his word who never met a stranger. Ronnie loved his family dearly and adored his sweet Starla. An avid outdoorsman, Ronnie felt closest to the Lord while enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. He also had a passion for restoring his 1967 red Mustang, a project he had lovingly worked on for the past 3 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley with friends and family. Ronnie’s love for his family, his love and appreciation for the outdoors, and his genuine friendship with others will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Survivors include his beloved Starla Outlaw; children, Deserae Stanley, Tristina Martin (Keith), Paul Stanley, Philip Stanley, and Derek Stanley; grandchildren, Destiny White, Braylynn De Vaughn, Layla DeVaughn, Skylynn Stanley, and Serinity Stanley; siblings, Debra “Debbie” Teichert (Bobby), Rev. Hilburn Stanley (Wendy), and Anthony Stanley (Kim); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
