Gerri Lynn Watson Saenz of Slocomb passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at her home. She was 50.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. Interment will follow in the Slocomb City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
Gerri was born March 21, 1972 in Dale County Alabama to Brenda Smith Key and Jerry Watson.
Survivors include her daughter, Alyssia Ramirez (Carmelo); son, Devin Watson (Andrea); grandchildren: Axton, Carmelo, and Ellie; mother, Brenda Key (Dennis); father, Jerry Watson (Becky); sisters: Kim, and Sheena Garcia (Julio); nieces and nephews: Rana, Olivia, Adrian, Chavela, and Mantris; other extended family and friends.

I new Jerry from the water company. She was one of the first people I met when I moved to Slocomb. She was so kind to me.
