Elma Lee Cole

Mrs. Elma Lee Cole of Slocomb passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at her home. She was 89. 

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Cole was born March 9, 1933 in Geneva, AL to the late Zelmer and Hettie Ruth Myers Bruce. 

In addition to her parents, first husband, Marcus Banks; second husband, P.M. Cole; two sisters: Thelma Watson and Lula Burkett, all preceded her in death. 

Survivors include daughter, Patricia Byrd (Horace); son, Rusty Banks (Brenda); grandchildren: Tricia Thorne (Joe), Ginger Worley (James), Amanda Benway; great grandchildren: Thomas Austin (Samantha), Cassidy Austin, Deanna Jackson (Chris), Kelly Robinson (Ricky), Dakota Worley (Tori), Jason McKinney, Allie Benway, Alexis Benway, Raylee Benway, Jay Jay Thorne, Kylie Rose and Slay Ivy; great- great grandchildren: Jayden, Hayes, Cohen, Kynsleigh, Noah, RJ, Hunter, Aiden, and Hunter D; other extended family and friends.
