Mrs. Stelastine Holland Skipper of Slocomb, formerly of Columbus, GA, passed away Monday, March 30. 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 90. 

A private graveside service will be held at Slocomb City Cemetery. 

Mrs. Skipper was born August 13, 1929 in Geneva County to the late Arthur and Lola Watson Holland. Stelastine was a member of Slocomb First United Methodist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She retired after many years of service from the State of Georgia.  She enjoyed reading and caring for her family! 

In addition to her parents, her brother, Pasco Davis preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her husband, Brady Skipper; children: Linda Giovannini and Steven Skipper; grandchildren: Brittany Duncan (Andrew), and Michael Giovannini (Jennifer); great grandchildren: Jacob Thomas, Josh Duncan,  Jonah Duncan, Dominic Giovannini, and Evelyn Giovannini; siblings: Mona Sasser (Donald), and Dutch Holland (Sara); sister-in-law, Nell Kingrey; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. 

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Southern Care Hospice, especially caregivers: Zakina Hart, Beth Branch, Ali Walker, Lisa Eller, and Jenny Bell for the love and care they provided during Stelastine during her illness.
