Mrs. Mary Strickland Farmer of Hartford went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 29, 2022 at her home. She was 83.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
Mrs. Farmer was born August 24, 1938 in Geneva County to the late George Washington and Votie Lee Owens Strickland.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Gene Farmer and six brothers and one sister all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula Alley (Tommy); grandsons: Nick Alley (Brittany), and Jeremy Alley (Tiffany); great grandchildren: Reagan, Ilah, Emelyn, Norah and Noah Alley; and other extended family and friends.
