Tammy Jo Exum, born March 19, 1960 to Faye Jackson and Governor Dean passed away peacefully after a long fight with cancer on Wednesday, January 6, 2022. She was 61. 

To honor Mrs. Exum’s wishes memorialization will be by cremation. No services will be held at this time. 

Tammy also known as “Nan” loved traveling with her best friend and love of her life, Chet her husband, aka “pawpaw”. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She loved her holidays, especially Christmas. Her yard, every season was full of decorations. Churches and schools would come by to see them. She was artistic. 

Tammy was preceded in death by her beautiful granddaughter, Ariel Parker; mother, Brenda Exum; fathers: Governor Dean, Edward Jackson, and Jim Exum; brothers: Roger Dean, Chris Exum, Curt Exum; grandmothers: Massie Mills and Ma Clyde; aunt, Dora Mills. 

Survivors include, her husband, Chet Exum; daughter, Mandy Bond (John); mother, Fay Jackson; grandkids: Lacey Parker, Tristan and Dylian Bond; great grandchild, Aerial Parker; brother, Mark Jackson (Paula). Other extended family and friends.
