Mrs. Edna Earl “Nearl” Logan of Dothan passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at her home. She was 90. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. Burial will follow in the Victoria Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Victoria Cemetery Fund, C/O Wilson Mobley, 13606 Highway 125, Jack, AL 36346. 

Mrs. Logan was born February 27, 1931 in Coffee County to the late Julius L. and Rosabel Martin Allen. Edna loved doing taxes, shopping, and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed. 

In addition to her parents, brother-in-law, Lloyd Thomas Williams, Jr., and other family members all preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her husband, Charles “Butch” Roe Logan; sister, Myra Nell Williams; brother-in-law, William C. “Bill” Logan; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other extended family and friends. 

The family would like to thank Mrs. Logan’s caregivers, Alicia Jacob and Madeline Adkison, also Kindred Hospice for the love and care shown to Mrs. Edna. 

Serving as pallbearers: David Damon, Justin Damon, Chris Jones, Jake Jones, Steve McCullough, and Ned “Nick” Maddox.
