Mr. Stephen Allen Chavis of Dothan passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020. He was 48.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.  Interment will follow in the Fadette Pentecostal Ministries Church Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.

 

All visitors are welcome at 121 Waterford Place in Dothan, AL following the Celebration of Life Service.

 

Mr. Chavis was born January 7, 1972 in Sanford Florida to Gerald and Judith Turvin Chavis. Stephen was very thoughtful and enjoyed drawing. He was a loving son and adoring father and will be profoundly missed.

 

In addition to his parents, survivors include three daughters: Summer Chavis, Brianna Chavis, and Brooke Chavis; one son, Brett Chavis; the mother of his children, Dana Register; siblings: Cindy Carnes, Jerry Chavis (Paige), Kim Stanley (Anthony); several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
