Mr. Aaron Blake Welborn Sr. of Lynn Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Reverend Larry Newton officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until service time.  A private family burial will follow on Monday at New Providence Baptist Church.  Mr. Welborn was born April 4, 1974 in Houston County to Winona Baxley Welborn and the late Robert Terry Welborn. Blake was a loving and adoring husband and father who possessed a great sense of humor.   He enjoyed spending time with them, taking family trips, and would often quote his favorite movie lines.  Blake was loved by everyone he met and he will be profoundly missed.  In addition to his father, grandmothers: Lilla Pearl Baxley and Robbie Welborn preceded him in death.  Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Penni Newton Welborn; children: Amber Camille Welborn, Reagan Denise Welborn, and Aaron Blake Welborn Jr.; mother, Winona Baxley Welborn; sister, Kim Welborn; brother, Duane Welborn (Kathy); many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
