Mrs. Mona Guilford of Hartford passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Wiregrass Rehab and Nursing Home. She was 85.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Hartford City Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Spivey officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
Mrs. Guilford was born June 21, 1937 to the late Doc and Lena Starling Fillingim.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Frank Guilford grandchild, Adam Harrell; sisters: Maxine Trawick, Eunice Lewis, and Mildred Gilley; brothers: Brady Fillingim, and Lindy Fillingim preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Daphne Harrell; two sons: Darrell Chalker, and Tommy Guilford; grandchildren: Christy Hutchings (Matthew), Megan Chancellor (Tyler), and Heath Harrell (Hillary); great grandchildren: Caden Hutchings, Lawson Hutchings, Blakeley Chancellor, Heidi Chancellor, Nash Chancellor, Haven Harrell, and Hannah Harrell; sister, Mary E. Grubbs; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
