Teresa Sullivan

Mrs. Teresa Sullivan of Hartford went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 11, 2022.  She was 72. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. 

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Sullivan was born September 13, 1949 to Billie Ruth Sykes and the late JC Sykes. Teresa was a loving wife, and an adoring mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a great woman of faith and member of Shiloh Baptist Church. 

In addition to her father, her husband, Franklin Dewey Sullivan preceded her in death. 

Survivors include two sons: Jeffery Sullivan (Tracie), Dothan, and Allen Sullivan (Sandy), Hartford; mother, Billie Ruth Sykes, Decatur; four grandchildren: Katie Sullivan, Anna Claire Mock (Ty), Bella Sullivan, and Isaac Sullivan; brothers: Jimmy Sykes (Marilyn), and Larry Sykes (Nita); several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
