Mr. Goodnight was born September 11, 1945 in Grand Island, Nebraska to the late Bernard S. and Annie Catherin Smith Goodnight. The first eleven years of his life, his family lived in many different states as his father’s work involved travel. Ronnie’s parents divorced when he was eleven and he moved to Hartford with his mother. He became a big part of GCHS where he enjoyed football and baseball. After having a stroke, he retired and settled in his hometown of Hartford. Mr. Goodnight has resided at Hartford HealthCare since 2013. Ronnie enjoyed camping, fishing, ball games, and attending church at First United Methodist Church of Hartford. Ronnie loved his family, his dogs, and Auburn football. War Eagle, Ronnie!
