Mrs. Nell Enfinger of Slocomb passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at her home. She was 83.  

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb with Rev. David Zorn officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

 

Mrs. Enfinger was born on November 20, 1930 in Geneva County to the late Thomas and Ethel Jackson Zorn. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. 

 

In addition to her parents, her husband, Gene Enfinger and three brothers: Paul, Bill and David Zorn all preceded her in death. 

 

Survivors include two daughters: Sylvia Peters (Ronnie), Slocomb and Lisa Brokaws (Scott), Houston, TX; three sons: Bobby Enfinger (Donna) Keeseville, NY, Ronnie Enfinger, Slocomb and Shane Enfinger (Debbie), Taylor; one sister, Sybil Poland, Hartford; eight grandchildren: Tara, Chris, Ronnie, Elizabeth, Nicki, J.R., Blake and Thomas; four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
