Mrs. Frances Hatcher, of Hartford, Alabama, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 in Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay, Florida. She was 89.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, Hartford, Alabama, in Frances Hatcher’s memory.
Mrs. Hatcher was born July 10, 1936 to the late James Short and Effie Beatrice Corbin Hallford in Hartford, Alabama. Frances enjoyed arts and crafts along with gardening. She was a devoted and loving wife for 52 years. Frances was a Godly woman and had an unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Rex O. Hatcher, her loving husband; son, Rex Allen Hatcher; two sisters, and four brothers all preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Kerri Sullivan (Tim); sons: Richie Hatcher (Shirley), Mark Hatcher (Deborah); grandchildren: Donavan Hatcher, Nicholas Hatcher, Brian Thatcher, Crystal Thatcher, Taylor Hatcher, Matt Kirkland, Kade Sullivan, Zachary Sullivan; thirteen great grandchildren; aunt, La Rose Shirley, and numerous extended family and friends.
