 Mr. Johnny Earl Hendrix of Slocomb passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was 62.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at New Teamon Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Chorn and Rev. Brian Klobe officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. 

 Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made in Johnny’s honor to the New Teamon Baptist Church.

 Mr. Hendrix was born on January 18, 1963, in Houston County to Mary Margaret Butler Hendrix and the late Rev. Lonnie Earl Hendrix. Johnny was a proud veteran of the Alabama Army National Guard.  He was a musician and had enjoyed playing his guitar in various bands and was a member of the New Teamon Baptist Church Praise Team.  Johnny was employed with Reliable Products as a supervisor for over 39 years.

 Survivors include his son, Bradley Hendrix; mother, Mary Margaret Hendrix; sister, Laura Hendrix Smith (Charles); niece, Kellie Hatcher (Jacob); nephew, Caleb Smith; two great nephews: Micah and Eli Hatcher; a host of other extended family and friends.
