Mrs. Deborah T. Turner of Newton, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Southeast Health. She was 71.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church with Reverend Buddy Hood and Reverend Allen Singley officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing until service time.
Deborah was born on August 3, 1953, in Panama City, Florida to the late Herman and Opal Wilson Taylor. She had a big heart and always put others first. Deborah loved her family deeply and was always there to help them in their times of need. She loved fishing, in her younger years, and doing puzzles. She was a woman of great faith.
In addition to her parents, one daughter, Kesha Turner Kratz proceeded her in death
Survivors include her husband, of 52 years, Charles Turner; son, Blake Turner (Corie); sisters: Kay Duke, Barbara Gordon, and Theresa Parker (Wayne); brothers: Keith Taylor (Libi) and Kent Taylor (Ginger); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends
