Windell Hubert Smith

Mr. Windell Hubert Smith of Slocomb passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at SAMC.  He was 58.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Smith was born October 30, 1959 in DeFuniak Springs, FL to the late William Hubert Smith and Ruby Nell Wilson  Smith. Windell had a great sense of humor and loved to talk!  He enjoyed fishing and going to yard sales but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include  his children: Thomas Windell Smith and Summer Sherie Luginbill; grandchildren: Isaac & Briley Luginbill and Isabella Smith; siblings: Willard Smith, Willie Joe Smith, Wynell Kelly (Steve) and Willie Mae Miller (Joel); several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
