Mr. Windell McKinney of Bonifay, FL passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Wiregrass Nursing Home. He was 87.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. , Wednesday, January 7, in the Esto Community Cemetery with Rev. Max McKinney officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that you honor Mr. McKinney with your kind thoughts and prayers for his family.
Mr. McKinney was born March 12, 1927 in Geneva County to the late Malcom D. and Minnie Lee Johnson McKinney. He was a proud United States Navy veteran and served honorably until his retirement.
In addition to his parents, one brother, Joseph B "J.B." Mckinney preceded him in death.
Survivors include two brothers: Max McKinney and Harrell McKinney; several nieces nephews and other extended family and friends.
