Wade Baxley

Mr. Wade Baxley of Miami formerly of Rehobeth passed away Sunday March 19, 2017.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you honor Wade's memory with a contribution to the charity of your choice.

Wade was born January 19, 1928 in Houston County to the late Anglish Grady and Margaret Howze Baxley. A proud veteran, Wade served honorable in the United States Navy and Air Force for over 20 years.

In addition to his parents, his first wife and mother of his children, Carmon "Judy" Spivey Baxley; his second wife, Jeanette Baxley preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons:  Randall Wade Baxley (Debbie)  and Michael Neal Baxley (Maria);  nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Carlton Baxley (Eloise); other extended family and friends.
