Virginia Cain Knight

Mrs. Virginia Cain Knight of Slocomb went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 67.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb with Bro. Dennis Singletary officiating. Burial will follow in the Fadette Pentecostal Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Knight was born November 30, 1954 in Graceville, FL to the late Henry Arcola and Leslie Lee Adams Cain. Virginia attended Slocomb High School. She retired from Van Heusen after 30 years. She was a member of the New Hinson Baptist Church where she loved serving her Lord. She cherished the time that she had to spend with her family especially her two grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, spending time outdoors, as well as tending to her flower garden.  Virginia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, her daughter, Jennifer Maria Knight preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Howard B. Knight; son, Jason H. Knight (Priscilla); grandchildren: Cason and Emmett Knight. Extended family and friends.
