Tina L. Storey

Mrs. Tina L. Storey, 65, of Clayhatchee passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Tim Clark officiating.  Interment will follow at Richburg Cemetery in New Brockton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Born to the late Gene Fishburn and Rita Storey, Tina was raised in Indiana before moving to Alabama where she met and married the love of her life, Mike in 2001. She loved her children, adored her grandchildren; always encouraging and supporting them as their biggest fan.  Tina enjoyed fishing, gardening, and music and retired from M1 after 20 years of service.

In addition to her parents, a sister, Christine Wilson preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband, Mike Storey; sons: Thomas Kirkwood, Barry Storey, and Bradley Storey (Alicia); grandchildren: Bryson Storey, Dallas Kirkwood, and Joselyn Kirkwood; and other extended family and friends.
