Terry "Apple-Jack" Thomas

Terry "Mr. Apple-Jack" Thomas of Slocomb, AL passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at home. He was 74.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb with Pastor Bill Smith officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Walpole, NH.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 6:00 p.m. and continue until service time.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made in the memory of Terry Thomas to the Slocomb High School FFA, 591 South County Road 9, Slocomb, AL 36375, 334-886-2008.

Mr. Thomas was born September 7, 1943 in Norwalk, CT to the late Kenneth D. and Kathryn Groeschner Thomas. Terry owned and operated Apple-Jack Construction for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time on his farm tending to his 20 head of cattle.A

Survivors include his wife, Bernadette Thomas, Slocomb; one daughter, Kelly Thomas Wilder (Brian), Atlanta, GA; one son, Kenneth Thomas (Lan), Mira Loma, CA; one grandaughter, Rebecca Thomas, Warner Robins, GA; one sister, Sharon Jacobson of Kalispell, MT; numerous extended family and friends.
