Mr. Terry Max Peacock of Slocomb passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Hartford Health Care. He was 60 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Madrid City Cemetery, with Rev. Steve Etheridge officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Peacock was born on March 10, 1966, in Houston County to the late Bruce Baily Peacock and Shirley Diane Brookins. Terry worked for Asplundh Tree Expert Company for many years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter. A devoted family man, Terry cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He was also a dedicated Auburn football fan and proudly proclaimed, "War Eagle!"

Survivors include his wife, Quentina Peacock; daughters, Cristie Sanders, Kallie Peacock, and Allison Singleton (Matt); sons, Lee Peacock, Caleb Peacock (Alexa), Jacob Peacock (Dawn), and Michael Peacock; grandchildren, Lilah Peacock, Olivia Peacock, Parker Peacock, Zoie Sanders, Alexis Sanders, Kane Peacock, Madyson Peacock, Anniston Peacock, River Peacock, and Cole Singleton; sisters, Tammy Robinson and Kimberly Peacock; brothers, Christopher Peacock, Kevin Peacock, and Timothy Peacock; his niece, Sandy Valles (Wayne); and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
