Susan Pitts

Mrs. Susan Johnson Pitts of Slocomb passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Flowers Hospital. She was 67.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 in the Panther Creek Free Will Baptist Church cemetery with Reverend Michael Gibson officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Panther Creek Free Will Baptist Church cemetery fund.

Susan was born June 23, 1954 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to the late Bobby and Robbie Jackson Griffin. She moved to Wicksburg with her husband of 38 years, Coy Pitts.

In addition to her parents, her step daughter, Tessie Pitts also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: her husband, Coy Pitts; her son, Jeremy Johnson; two step sons, Daniel (Shawna) Pitts and Dale (Amanda) Pitts; one sister, Jennifer Hosetter; one brother, Scott Griffin; and one daughter in law, Rachel Pitts; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
