Mrs. Sue Owens Killingsworth

Mrs. Sue Owens Killingsworth of Slocomb passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Southeast Health. She was 66.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Bro. Scott Byrd and Bro. Tim Folds officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Killingsworth was born June 26, 1954 in Holmes County, FL to the late Dan and Evelyn Bass Owens. Sue was a loving wife and mother who lovingly took care of numerous other children. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, her son, Travis Wayne Killingsworth and her brother, Audy Owens all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Donald Killingsworth; daughter, Tonya Killingsworth Williams (Shane); son, Wesley Killingsworth (Yolanda); grandchildren: Lily Killingsworth, Abby Williams, Emmett Williams, and Landon Killingsworth; sisters: Elaine Jones, Kathy Raley, and Kim Berry; brothers: Herbert Owens, Clint Owens, and Gene Owens; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
