Stacy Scott Garrett

Stacy Scott Garrett of Pensacola, FL and Hartford, AL passed away Monday July, 5 2021 due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident in Pensacola, FL.  He was 52.

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday July 10, 2021 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb, AL with Rev. Glen Tate officiating.

Stacy was born September 13, 1968 in Zion, IL to the late Jimmie Royce Garrett and Carolyn Sue Fuller Garrett.  He moved to Pensacola, FL at a young age where he loved to stroll down the beautiful white sandy beaches or capture a sunset as it slowly faded into the deep blue waters of the gulf.  He was such a gifted musician and enjoyed sharing his God given talent he had with his son.  While music was his passion, he also enjoyed drawing, golf, and Alabama football.  His talent will be missed by so many of his closest friends and family.

His father Jimmie Garrett preceded him in death.

Survivors in include his son Wade Garrett, Pensacola, FL, his mother Carolyn Fuller Garrett, Hartford, AL, his brother Jim Garrett (Tammy), Graceville, FL, and sisters Carol Aplin (Don) Hartford, AL, Patty Farrar (Kerry) Hartford, AL, and Vanessa Lukers (Chris) Pensacola, FL; He also was a loving Uncle to several special nieces and nephews including a great-great nephew.
