Sharon Susan Dunn

Mrs. Sharon Susan Dunn of the Jellico Community went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Flowers Hospital after a brief illness. She was 66.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Piney Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tim Simmons and Rev. Larry Carpenter officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Dunn was born January 16, 1950 in Hartford to the late Perry and Etha Mae Sanders. After living all of her life in Wicksburg, she graduated from Wicksburg High School in 1968. Susie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, William Dunn, Wicksburg; two sons: Tony Dunn (Trish), Bessemer and Travis Dunn, Newton; two daughters: Terri Sellers (Pat), Newton and Traci Fox (Hilton), Wicksburg; one sister, Ann Thomley; one brother Eugene Sanders both of Wicksburg; seven grandchildren: Dustin, JP, Adam, Taylor, Jada, Jacob and Hunter; two great-grandchildren and one on the way; other extended family and friends.
