Royce Daughtry

Mr. Royce Daughtry of Newton, AL passed away Monday, September 28, 2020. He was 80.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Goodwater Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Goodwater Free Will Baptist Church, 41 AL-103, Newton, AL 36352.

Mr. Daughtry was born September 10, 1940 in Coffee County to the late James Noll Daughtry Jr. and Ina Jean McDougald Daughtry.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Lavaughn Daughtry preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Daughtry; daughter, Robin Daughtry McKinney (James); son, Carl Wood; grandchildren: Bailey Wood, Chasen Wood, Drew McKinney, Makala McKinney, Madison McKinney, and Sarah Beth King (Cody); great-grandchildren: Addison and Wiley. Other extended family and friends.
