Robert "Bob" Sarvis

Mr. Robert "Bob" Sarvis of Hartford passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Flowers Hospital. He was 90.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 24, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Tate and Rev. Marell Turvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Bob was born September 13, 1924 in Franklin County, FL to the late H.T. and Mary Lee Johnson Sarvis.  He was a proud United States Navy veteran and  a member of Hartford First Assembly of God Church.

In addition to his parents, one son, Rickey Talley preceded him in  death.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Kathleen Dowling Sarvis, Hartford; son, Gregory Talley (Stephanie), High Springs, FL; two brothers: Charlie Sarvis, Jacksonville, FL and Bill Sarvis, Panama City, FL; grandchildren: Justin Talley and Jennifer Talley Colson (Blake); great grandchildren: Cayden and Jaxson; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
