Phillip W. Martin

Mr. Phillip W. Martin of Slocomb passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home. He was 74.

Keeping with Mr. Martin’s wishes there will be no services.

Mr. Martin was born August 20, 1944 in Mississippi to the late Bunt and Christine Martin. Phillip served two tours in Vietnam. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retiring after 23 years.Phillip then retired from the US Postal Service after 18 years.

In addition to his parents, daughter, Teresa Lynn Brown preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Speigner (Britt); son, Raymond Martin (Barbara); grandchildren: Taylor Fleming (Josh), Hannah Mock, Reagan Mock, Alex Martin, Haley Brown, Breanna Brown, and Brittany Smallwood (Adam); son in law, David Brown; sisters: Shirley Martin, Patsy Martin, and Carolyn Martin; brother, Jerry Martin; good friends, Kenny and Donna; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
