Peggy Jo Clark Collins

Mrs. Peggy Jo Clark Collins of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Flowers Hospital. She was 59.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Price officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Collins was born October 17, 1956 in Houston County to the late Edward and Lois Lassiter Clark. Peggy was an avid Alabama fan. She was a loving and devoted wife, great mom and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, nephew Brandon Clark and step-mother Dottie Clark preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Collins, Slocomb; daughter, Cindy Williams Maxwell (Mark), Medina, OH; son, Dennis Pynes, Slocomb;  six grandchildren: Aubrey, Tristen, Dylan, Maddy, Lilly and Abe; three brothers: Eddie Clark (Kristi), Lovetown, Donnie Clark (Thelma), Cottonwood and Ronnie Clark (Donna), Newton; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
