Patsy Williams

Mrs. Patsy Williams of Slocomb went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Southeast Health.  She was 63.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patsy’s honor to the Autism Society, 6110 Executive Boulevard Suite 305, Rockville, Maryland 20852

Mrs. Williams was born September 4, 1959 in Dale County to the late Edgar and Evelyn Kennedy Deese. Patsy was a loving wife, mother and an adoring grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time and money spoiling those she loved.  She was a hard worker who treasured making her customers feel beautiful.  Traveling was a passion of Patsy’s, and she loved going to concerts.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends!

In addition to her parents, her brothers: David, James, and Wayne Deese, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Joey Williams; sons: Tracy LaDon Metcalf, Brian Metcalf (Jennifer), and Eric Metcalf (Andrea Bowen); stepson, Brian Williams;  grandchildren: Tyler, Ariel Tyson (John Jr.), Caleb Metcalf, Lyla Metcalf, Emma Metcalf, Damon Metcalf, Salem Metcalf, and Winston Tyson; brothers: Bobby Deese (Lafaye), Larry Deese (Barbara); sister-in-law, Lynda Deese; daughter-in-law, Kaylie Preston; special friends: Charles & Lori Coker, Anna Raley, and Steve Mitchell; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
