Patricia Ann Carter

Mrs. Patricia Ann Carter of Hartford passed away Friday, July 22, 2022.  She was 74.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.  Interment will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Carter was born August 13, 1947 in New York to the late Winifred and Bernice Averett Childs.  Patricia was a loving wife, and an adoring mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Dennis Carter, Sr., Hartford; daughters: MaryAnn Howell-Davis (Brad), Lebanon, TN, and Patricia Dana Mixon (Ronnie), Slocomb; sons: Kevin Lee Howell (Laralei), Ozark, and Larry Dennis Carter, Jr., Hartford; grandchildren: Leann Svoboda, Nickolas Mixon, Lukas Mixon, and Madyson Mixon; great grandchildren: Atticus Svoboda, and Violet Svoboda; sisters: Joan Sewell, Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Joy Latham, Springfield, FL; several nieces, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
