Patricia W. Bond

Mrs. Patricia W. Bond of the Bay Springs Community, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 78.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in the Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dalton Keel officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in Patricia’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, 1314 Westgate Parkway, Dothan, AL 36303.

Mrs. Bond was born November 7, 1945 in Houston County to the late Elmos and Iona Waddell Wells.  Patsy was a 1963 graduate of Dothan High School.  She fell in love and married Larry Bond in 1965 and they were blessed with two children; Lisa and David, and a granddaughter Ann Wells.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Larry D. Bond, Dothan; children: Lisa C. Bond, Orange Beach, AL, and David Bond, St. Louis, MO; granddaughter, Ann Wells McLaney, Atlanta, GA; sister, Susan Murphy, Miramar Beach, FL; three nieces; two nephews; and other extended family and friends.
