Mrs. Pamela Lynn Driskell of Dothan, Alabama passed away at Flowers Hospital on Thursday, April 2, 2026. She was 68.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Bay Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy Green officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. and continuing until service time.

Pamela was born on August 10, 1957 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Ted Lanier and Mary Windham Driskell. After the loss of her only child, Pamela went to college to get her degree in teaching After graduation, she taught first grade for one year and then continued enriching young children’s lives by teaching kindergarten for the next thirty-four years. She impacted the lives of many children in very positive ways. These children were an instrument that God used to see her through the loss of her own child. After her retirement, Pamela enjoyed traveling and spending time in the mountains. She also started and enjoyed a new career as a homemaker and taking care of her husband and their little farm. She was committed to serving the Lord in numerous ways in church and had an unwavering love for her church family. Her greatest love was for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents; her daughter, Christy; sister, Tamara Lanier; grandparents; and mother-in-law Bobbi Driskell, all preceded her in death.

Pamela leaves behind a legacy and memories that will be cherished by her survivors including, her husband, Donnie Driskell; brothers: Ted Lanier and Terry Lanier and other extended family and friends.
