Nedra Ellen Glover

Mrs. Nedra Ellen Glover of Slocomb went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 78.

A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. A private family graveside will be held after the visitation.

Mrs. Glover was born April 18, 1946, in Georgia to the late Clinton and Rosa Mae Busby Middlebrooks.  Nedra enjoyed sewing, gardening, and she loved cooking and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, and adoring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, infant son Terry Michael Glover; grandchildren: Jacob Scott Smith, and Melody Joy Peardon, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Rev. Bruce Terry Glover; daughters: Julie M Smith (Craig), and Kimberly Rousseau (David); grandchildren: Joshua Scott Smith (Sarah), Jenna Maeve Holster (Trey), Amanda Nicole Peardon (Marvin), Michelle Rose Rousseau, Sara Marie Rousseau; great grandchildren:  Jocelyn Holster, Paisley Holster, Teaghen Holster, Emma Smith, and Luke Rousseau; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
