Nam Suk Mccray

Mrs. Nam Suk McCray of Slocomb passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Flowers Hospital. She was 64.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Slocomb Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Slocomb City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. McCray was born October 20, 1956 in South Korea to the late Soo-deok Park and Gi-seon Ha, Nam loved her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Slocomb First Baptist Church and loved her church family. Nam married her husband of 44 years on December 31, 1976. Mrs. McCray’s family was very dear to her and she enjoyed being a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, one brother, Park, Dong-gil preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Al McCray; son, James McCray; grandchildren: Analin McCray and Issac McCray; sisters: Ree-joo Park and Mi-ra Park; brother: Jong-kwan Park; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
