Mrs. Melinda Fay Meredith of Slocomb (Southern Junction Community) passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her residence. She was 65.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2021 in the Fadette Pentecostal Ministries cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
Melinda was born June 30, 1956 in Hartford Alabama to the late RJ and Luverne Knight Smith.
Survivors include her husband, John Allen Meredith Jr. (Southern Junction community), a daughter, Emily Hildreth (Lester), Geneva; sons: Chris Meredith (Brandy) and Ben Meredith; her step mother Shelia Smith, Slocomb; three grandchildren: Holly McSwain, Gage Ammons, and Parker Hildreth; and a brother, Charles Smith, Slocomb.
