Mr. McArthur Reeves of Slocomb, Alabama, son of the late Wade and Lucille Reeves, was born in Crawford County, Georgia December 20, 1942. Mr. Reeves graduated from Upson County Area Vocational-Technical School, Atlanta Area Technical School and DeKalb Technical School. He was a mechanical engineer.

Mr. Reeves is predeceased by brothers Lincoln Reeves, Russell Reeves, Ross Reeves; sisters, Geneva Pryor, Judy Turner and Janice Smith; granddaughter Danielle Reeves, grandson Johnathon Quick, and stepdaughter Wendy Cotney.

Survivors are his wife, Earlene T. Reeves, daughters Johnna (David Quick, Midway, Ga., Tammy Reeves, Williamson, Ga., Jovie (Chaz) Lawrence, Elkton, Fla., son Tommy (Connie)

Reeves, St. Augustine, Fla; grandchildren Mathew (Kristin) Quick, Evans, Ga., Brittany Carnahan, Williamson, Ga., Shealby (Barrett) Williams, Williamson, Ga., Michael Fritts, Yatesville, Ga., Lindsey Lawrence, Elkton, Fla.;Katie and Eleanor Quick; great grandchildren Allie (Jonathan) Smith,  Alex Villa, Tinsley Carnahan, Buck Williams; great-great grandchild Paisley Grace Smith.

Mr. Reeves attended First Baptist Church in Slocomb. There is no planned memorial at this time.
