Mr. Max Yeomans of Hartford passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at Southeast Health. He was 63.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Eheridge officiating.
Mr. Yeomans was born September 28, 1959 in Okeechobee, Florida to the late Robert E. and Margaret Jean Sorrells Yeomans. Max graduated from Geneva County High School. He loved farming and was employed with Kelly Farms. He also worked with Barnes Railroad. Max was a kind and gentle person with a smile always on his face. He was a member of Full Faith Gospel Church.
In addition to his parents, brother-in-law, Jimmy Lewis preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sister, Debra Jean Lewis; nephews: Jimmy Lewis, and Josh Lewis; great niece, Samara Lewis; great nephews: Josh Lewis Jr., and Jimmy Michael Lewis; other extended family and friends.
