Marion Leo Kirkland, Jr.

Mr. Marion Leo Kirkland, Jr. of Slocomb passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was 60.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at New Hinson Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Klobe officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Kirkland was born March 26, 1962 in Rockledge, FL to the late Hazel Marie Hicks Kirkland and Marion Leo Kirkland, Sr.

In addition to his parents, his father & mother-in-law, Gary F. & Nina Frank Thompson Williford all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Debra Carol Williford Kirkland; daughter, Lacy Schulmerich; sons: Daniel Ryan Kirkland, and Jason Dean Kirkland; grandchildren: Ian Alexander Kirkland, Ethan Blane Schulmerich, Henry Lee Schulmerich, and Levi Joseph Schulmerich; siblings: Marie Kirkland Broxton (Jerry), and Allen Leland Kirkland; brother-in-law, G. Alan Williford (Sandra); nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
