Margaret Pender Wall

Mrs. Margaret Pender Wall of Hartford, formerly of Macon, GA, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022. She was 93.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Lizella, GA with Rev. Harley Gentry officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at Sorrels Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. (CST)

Mrs. Wall was born March 20, 1929 in Macon, GA to the late Willis and Maggie Guerry Pender.  Margaret met and fell in love with Murrell Wall and they were happily married for 62 wonderful years. She was a woman of faith and member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, New Adventures, Woodman of the World, and H2U.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Dawson Murrell Wall, and a daughter, Wanda Cook all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters: Debra Johnson (Mike), and Beverly Kennedy (Billy); five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
