Luis Alderete

Mr. Luis Alderete of Hartford passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at his home.  He was 70.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 in the Wicksburg Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tim Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.

Mr. Alderete was born February 27, 1954 in Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lupe Romero.

Survivors include his wife, Hope Alderete; daughters: Mary Lou Coker (Steve), Connie Busco (Stephen), and Erica Ward; sons: Bobby Lozano, and John Lozano (Dorothy); grandchildren: Josh & JT Singletary, Deandre Ward, Elayna Ward, Amaya Ward, Trey Lozano, Jordan Lozano, PJ Valdez, Lindsey & Adrian Lozano, James Coker, and Kamdyn Singletary; sisters: Stella Acosta, Maria Alderete, and Paula Alderete; and other extended family and friends.
