Linda Jane Miller

Mrs. Linda Jane Miller of Slocomb passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Flowers Hospital. She was 68.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Miller was born March 12, 1945 in Ft. Benning, GA to the late Ai and Martha Doris Griffin Hammond. She was a member of Christian Home Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Fred Miller, daughter, Lisa Grant and niece, Marcie Mills preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Anthony Miller (Jennifer), Panama City, FL; one daughter, Carrie Miller Rogers, Hartford; six grandchildren: Eric, Joshua, Lindsey, Hannah, Christopher and Ashlyn; one sister, Martha Whitrock (Tom), Malvern and one brother, Gene Hammond (Jackie), Vermont; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
