Lena Faye Eubanks

Mrs. Lena Faye Eubanks of Slocomb passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 79.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday March 16, 2024 at Hartford Highway Church of Christ, in Taylor with Minister, Kevin Presley officiating. Burial will follow in the Slocomb City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Eubanks was born August 27, 1944 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Lloyd Kornegay and Audrey Yarber Kornegay.

In addition to her parents, grandchild, Wesley Eubanks and sister, Shirley Culbertson preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband, Lawrence Eubanks; daughter, Jenny Eubanks Ray (Danny), Bay Springs; sons: Charles Wesley Eubanks (Maria) Birmingham, Jonathan Eubanks (Kaylee), Slocomb, Kevin Hornsby (Heidi), Slocomb, and Bobby Jackson, Mobile; nine grandchildren: Sarah Kathryn, Olivia, Robert, Logan, Jake, Trent, Alexa, Brooklyn, and Wesley Kire; sister, Mary Lou Weeks, Kinston; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
