Mr. Kenneth Lee Kinman, of Hartford, AL, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL surrounded by his loving wife, children and other family. He was 84.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM At Hartford Baptist Church Reverend Scott Cox officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends, at the church, beginning at 2:00 PM and continuing until service time.

Family request that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to Hartford Baptist Church.

Kenneth was born August 25, 1941 in Poplar Grove, KY to the late Hiram and Emma Kinman. He married the love of his life and remained together for 64 years until he was called hone to be with his Lord and Savior. Kenneth was a loving father, friend, and mentor to everyone that knew him. He was a master carpenter and worked with several contractors at different power plants. He found joy and loved while hunting, fishing, and in music. His greatest love of all was being able to help others. Kenneth served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, on the building committee, and bus ministry at Hartford Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents; brothers: Estel Kinman and James Kinman; sisters: Nadine Martin, Betty Hunter, Linda Woodyard, and Glenda Smith; nephew, Aaron Kinman; niece, Karen Bryant; daughter-in-law, Becky Kinman; great grandson, Finn Hales Kinman all preceded him in death.

Mr. Kenneth leaves behind a loving family including his wife, Geraldine Simpson Kinman; sons: Michael Keith Kinman (Sandy) and Danny Lee Kinman; grandchildren: Michael Keith Kinman, Jr(Tara), Matthew Lee Kinman (Bailey), Samuel Carthell Kinman (Kara), Hughston Lee Kinman; great grandchildren: Ayden Michael Kinman, Skylar Colden Kinman, Gavin Lee Kinman, Samuel Blake Kinman, Harrison Lee Kinman, Ellis Hatcher Kinman, Jack Hales Kniman, Barrett Alexander Kinman; sister, Freida Stephenson (Wayne); brothers: Thurman Kinman (Claudia) and Harold Kinman (Teresa) , and other extended family and friends.
