Kathleen Weeks Cobb

Mrs. Kathleen Weeks Cobb of Hartford passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Hartford Health Care. She was 88.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 in Hartford Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Kroll and Dr. Ralph Brannon officiating.  Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Kathleen was born October 8, 1925 in Samson to the late Charlie and Ollie Wise McCollough. Kathleen, along with her late husband owned and operated the Western Auto in Hartford for many years. She was a member of Hartford Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, her first husband and father of her children, Robert R. “Bob” Weeks; son, James Franklin Weeks; several sisters and brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Ned Cobb, Hartford; two sons: Robert R. Weeks Jr. (Brenda), Dothan and David Weeks (Lara), Panama City, FL; sister, Sylvia Harrison (Lamar), Atlanta, GA; brother, Bobby Gene “Bob” McCollough (Teresa), Lake Wales, FL;  five grandchildren: Kim Moye (Brannon), Haley Kyle, Michelle Jordan (Rusty), Taylor Weeks (Ashley) and Jordy Faulk; nine great grandchildren; step-children: Pam Daughtry, Mike Cobb, Butch Cobb (Jessica) and Stephanie Brown (Joey); several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
