Karen Branton

Mrs. Karen Delane Branton of Taylor passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 58.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Taylor Assembly of God Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Branton was born August 21, 1962 in Houston County to Shirlene Godwin Creel and the late Wallace Dalton Creel.  Karen was a loving wife and mother, and an adoring grandmother who loved her family immensely and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her father, Wallace Dalton Creel, her husband, James Shelburn Branton preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Shirlene Godwin Creel; daughter, Sheena Branton; son, Foster Branton (Heather); grandchildren: Adeline Myers, Emily Myers, Jayden Branton, and Kaleb Branton; sister, Donna Mayo; niece, Delane Deshazo; father and mother-in-law, James and Geraldine Branton; special friend, Casey McAllister; other extended family and friends.
